RULE 14                                            ARBITRATION

 

A.  Any civil case may be submitted for arbitration at the request of the parties.

B.  In cases where the amount claimed in the Complaint is less than Twenty-five Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($25,000) and where no counterclaim or cross-complaint exceeds Twenty-five Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($25,000), the Court may order the matter submitted to arbitration without the consent of the parties.

C.  The arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator who shall be appointed by the Court unless the parties agree otherwise
