RULE 17.0 Weapons SearchA.) It is hereby ordered that all persons entering this Courthouse shall be subject to search by any law enforcement official. B.) It is herein ordered that no person or individual shall have a weapon of any kind upon his person while on the property of the Columbiana County Courthouse, excepting law enforcement officials, probation officers or others designated by the Court with permission to carry weapons. The Sheriff of Columbiana County or any other law enforcement official shall have the right to search and apprehend any individual in violation of this Rule and shall promptly bring said individual before a judge of the Court of Common Pleas for appropriate action. C.) Violation of this Rule may result in possible criminal prosecution and/or contempt of court proceedings. D.) The term "weapon" as used in this Rule shall correspond to the definitions of weapon and/or dangerous ordnance as used in provisions of the Ohio Revised |
